As Senior Director of Hospitality & Retail at Emaar Properties, Tomás Contreras supported the delivery of several strategic developments scheduled for Expo 2020 Dubai under the leadership of Mohamed Alabbar. Among them, Address Sky View represented one of Emaar's most ambitious luxury hospitality projects.
His role focused on refining public-area design, coordinating consultants, and ensuring the project achieved the highest execution standards. A key contribution was the redesign of the main glazed lobby experience through a custom kinetic lighting installation developed with Roy Zhang and ViaBizzuno. The system incorporated over 1,400 robotic micro-LED elements suspended at varying heights, transforming the lobby into an immersive architectural landmark overlooking the Dubai skyline.
